Henna Aftercare is just as important as the design and application. Good aftercare yields beautiful results while not caring for your Henna means a light and quick to fade stain.
Please follow the steps below for the best stain possible:
🌸 Protect your stain from getting smeared
Allow paste to dry complete
🌸 Apply sealant if available
🌸 Let paste sit on skin for 4-8 hours
The longer the better!
🌸 After 8 hours, scrape off the dry paste
You may pick it off or use a straight edge to scrape it off. Use coconut oil to remove the stubburn bits. Wipe dry with a paper towel
🌸 Avoid water for 24-48 hours
🌸 Before bathing apply coconut oil and avoid exfoliating the area
Note: DO NOT WRAP YOUR HENNA’D HANDS AND FEET WITH ANY FORM OF PLASTIC - NO SARAN WRAP, NO PLASTIC BAGS, NO GLOVES- YOUR HENNA WILL SMEAR.
Henna will be orange at first and will darken over the next 24 hours. Natural henna has a reddish or brownish stain. Results vary based on your body chemistry and how well you care for your henna. Hands and feet stain best while other parts of the body may be faint.
